I thank God that I have the wonderful family that I do. We have been blessed more than I can describe. However, I recognize the world my kids are growing up into. We are committed to raising our kids to be followers of Jesus Christ, and we hope and pray that they will grow to love Jesus, truth, freedom, and other people, and dedicate their lives to their defense.

We live in an extraordinary time, where there is a wealth of knowledge at our fingertips, and yet ignorance abounds.  We have divorced ourselves from wisdom while we repeat the mistakes of history.  Our higher purpose is sacrificed as we become pleasure-seeking automatons.

“Watch out that no one deceives you.

For many will come in my name, claiming,

‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars,

but see to it that you are not alarmed.

Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
